First Nation Early Learning Provincial Leadership Circle

The First Nation Early Learning Provincial Leadership Circle (FNELPLC) provides a platform for First Nation Child Care and Child and Family Program Regional Networks on reserve to learn from one another, share strategies and resources that support one another’s work in their respective networks.

First Nation Child Care and Child and Family Program Representatives

Each regional network has at least one representative to attend the First Nation Early Learning Provincial Leadership Circle. Regional networks can also identify an alternate designate in the event the representative is unable to attend a meeting.

Members are determined by your regional network group.  Network representatives must request interest and be agreed by regional representatives and noted in minutes.

The Early Learning Provincial Leadership Circle works in partnership with Indigenous Professional Learning Opportunities (IPLO) branch of FIREFLY, Ministry of Education, Chiefs of Ontario, off reserve child care centers, among other partners to support the First Nation Regional Networks.

The FNELPLC ensures the All Nation’s (NECE) conference continues as an annual event and the Circle support the event as needed.  Members or a designate must be present to represent their region.
